Why do women wear allure spots?

There is nothing in a woman's obverse makeup more hideous than a "beauty spot" so why do they wear them? They would be more aptly named an "repulsive spot" because they spoil the looks of a beautiful woman, or a "cancer spot" as they look like a melanoma or a "snot spot" because they also look close to a stray piece of nasal debris. Let's get rid of them once and for adjectives ladies. Give up the cancer/snot spot forever.
